Why the name Vellworks

Vellum was the fine material that important documents were written on when they were meant to be kept — records, charters, work made to outlast the moment. Aworks is a place where things are made, carefully and by hand.

Put together, Vellworks is our workshop: where a business's presence online is made properly, and built to last. It is not a name about technology for its own sake. It is a name about doing good work that keeps its value.

We apply that idea to something every small business needs today: a fast, honest, easy-to- maintain website that helps customers find and choose them.
